We invite you to get to know us! As a group of women ranging in age from young to old, it’s simple: We love to sing and we have fun doing it!
Hearts of Harmony Chorus began in 1993 and chartered with Sweet Adelines International in 2002. Our chorus falls into the Western Canadian district of Region 26. (www.region26.ca)
SAI ( www.sweetadelines.com )is an organization that spans the globe; one that honors and embraces artistry, education and innovation in the performance of women’s a cappella music. SAI has strong guiding principles that involve diversity and inclusion. We are proud to have membership in an organization that celebrates our differences and unites us by rejecting discrimination.
Hearts of Harmony is Red Deer’s premier chorus dedicated to preserving the unique sound of a cappella barbershop harmony and one that unites communities, by sharing our passion for music! We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings, with a focus on improving our technical skills and learning new melodies. Ours is a joyful space where every voice matters and we invite diversity.
Everyone sings…maybe in the privacy of their home or vehicle, but they sing…what you should understand is that singing can be learned & improved upon! Come and see for yourself!!! As well as learning music and performing in the community, we emphasize friendship and fun!
